Privacy policy
Short version: what you type into a calculator never leaves your browser.
Last updated 30 August 2026
Every calculation on this site runs locally in your browser. Dimensions, rates, prices and quantities are never sent to us or to anyone else.
Who runs this site
Calcumetryx is operated by Alessandro Mora, Ronda República Argentina 39, 27002 Lugo, Spain. The operator is established in Spain, which is what makes this a data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for any personal data this site processes — regardless of where a given visitor is browsing from. Contact: info@calcumetryx.com. Full identifying detail is in the legal notice.
What we do not collect
- Anything you enter into a calculator.
- Names, addresses, phone numbers or payment details — we have no accounts and sell nothing.
- Uploaded files. There is nothing to upload.
What we do collect, and why we are allowed to
Two things process personal data on this site, and each has its own legal basis under GDPR Article 6:
- Analytics — Google Analytics 4, aggregate usage events only, IP addresses anonymised. Relied on as a legitimate interest (understanding which calculators are useful), balanced against your right to block it at any time with no loss of functionality.
- Advertising — Google AdSense, which funds every free tool on this site. Where law requires consent before a non-essential cookie is set — the EU and UK — that consent is the legal basis; elsewhere, legitimate interest applies in the same balanced way as analytics.
Exactly which cookies each of those sets, who sets them, how long they last and how to opt out is covered in full in the cookie policy, rather than repeated here. The short version: the events we send never include the values you typed, and blocking either one with a standard content blocker does not break any calculator.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. In practice there is very little of yours for us to act on — see the sections above — but a request can go to info@calcumetryx.com and we will respond within the time GDPR requires. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority; because the controller is established in Spain, that is the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).
Feedback reports
If you send a feedback report we receive the reason you selected, the message you wrote and which calculator you were using. Do not include personal details in that message — we do not need them and we would rather not hold them.
Children
This is a professional tools site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
