Terms of use

Free to use, for any purpose, with one honest caveat about what a calculator can and cannot be responsible for.

Who you are dealing with

Calcumetryx is operated by Alessandro Mora, Ronda República Argentina 39, 27002 Lugo, Spain. These terms are governed by the law of Spain, and that is where the operator is established for any dispute. Contact: info@calcumetryx.com — full identifying detail is in the legal notice.

Using the calculators

Every tool on Calcumetryx is free to use, personally or commercially, with no account and no limit. You may quote results in your own estimates, bids and documents.

What the results are

Calcumetryx performs arithmetic on the numbers you enter. It does not inspect your site, know your ground conditions, or have any opinion about whether your inputs are correct.

Results depend entirely on the figures you supply. They are not a survey, a geotechnical assessment, a structural calculation, a safety determination or a quotation. They do not replace an engineer, a surveyor, a competent person for trench safety, or a written quote from a contractor.

The assumptions and limitations of each tool are stated on its own page. Read them before relying on a number, particularly for anything involving excavation depth, wall stability or vehicle loading.

No warranty

The site is provided as is. We work hard to get the maths right, we version every formula and we fix reported errors quickly — but we cannot warrant that every calculator is free of defects or fit for your particular purpose. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss arising from use of these tools.

If you believe a result is wrong, report it and we will check it.

Advertising

The site carries third-party advertising. We do not control, endorse or vet the advertisers shown, and any dealings with them are between you and them. See the privacy policy for the legal basis and the cookie policy for exactly which cookies advertising sets.

Content

The design, wording, diagrams and calculator implementations on this site belong to us. You are welcome to use the results; please do not copy the tools themselves wholesale.
